How do i start out a book report comparing the themes of two different books?

Both of these books are dystopian, which means that the society in which the characters live is oppressive and dictatorial (as opposed to free) You need to look at how the characters in each book are oppressed. And remember that Animal Farm is a serious book with a serious theme. Lots of kids think that because the characters are animals it's like a cartoon.
