Sound editing program? please help me find one?

Adobe has a lot of sound editing software like SoundBooth but that is $199.00 so that is kind of expensive for the stuff you want to do. There is Cyberlink Power Director, that is what I use. You cant do any sound editing except for adjusting volume levels wherever you want in the song. You can also do up to 4 audio tracks so you can add, for an example, an explosion during the song.
