I just built an SEO optimized site and am looking to draw traffic?

I just built my site its really good I'm pressed for time and I'm looking for a legitimate service that's cost effective to promote my site, get high google search rankings among other things does anyone have suggestions. I do have a decent advertising budget but I don't want to throw my money away on worthless promotion anyone who has experience with these companies I would appreciate any suggestions you may have. My main point of profit would be through adsense on my site if this helps.
