Do guys like tall/slender girls?

My best friend is 5'2 and im 5'10 and its really hard listening to her go on and on about how guys love her short curvy body. I'm fairly slender and tall and im really self concious ALLLLL the time and i try my hardest to slouch or bend my knees so i look shorter and walk in a way which makes me look more curvy. this all leads to me looking wayyy more awkward than i should... do guys even like tall/skinny girls? I feel like short and curvy is in and theres pretty much no chance for me...
