How do I save a DVD Sonogram to my computer.?

Ok, so I have a sonogram of my daughter on DVD. And I want to post it on my myspace and youtube. Heres the thing, it shows me a .BUP file. So I downloaded Handbreak and supposedly it converted it to mp4. But it says mpg. I don't know what the heck to do. Help me please !! I want to show some family members that live outta state ! And I don't want to lose the video altogether so I don't know what to do.
