How well do the 3d HDTVs look,and how close to the movie theater is it?

Ok I went a few motnhs ago and saw my 1st #d movie sence they redid they fromat,I must say it blew my mind, it was not at all what I expected,I was thinking about the old 3D,but it was almost unbelivable how well it was done,What I want to know is the #D TV sets that are out,Has anyone saw A movie on one maybe in a store or maybe lucky to have one themselves,how close to the theater experience is it? like the Depth perception is what really blew me away the fact that you could tell the dimensions on everything. Does the television experience live up the hype? I mean I understand the screen won't be as big but the depth perception aand all is what i am wondering about.
