How are these links offered to me by theists meant to be an enticement?

You have to remember that the average fundie believes that Answers In Genesis is offering the truth. They've never learned about science so they mistake the pseudo-science in AiG for a brave attack on the deceitful, atheistic scientific establishment. They think that once you read it your eyes will be opened. They really don't understand how funny some of that stuff is to anyone who has actually studied science.
